Golden Scalpel Award

The Golden Scalpel Award honors outstanding clinical and educational contributions to the field of cosmetic surgery. This award is given to an individual who has exemplified the art and science of performing cosmetic surgery to the highest level, embracing safety and the core principles, while sharing their knowledge and educating their peers.

Details: Self-nominations are accepted. The award is presented at the Annual Scientific Meeting.

Eligibility: Must be a current AACS member at the time of nomination and time of the upcoming Annual Scientific Meeting

AACS Rising Star Award of Excellence

The AACS Rising Star Award of Excellence is bestowed by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery to recognize an exceptional individual who is in the early stages of their career in the field of cosmetic surgery. This honor celebrates excellence, dedication, and early contributions that signify a trajectory of outstanding performance and innovation.

Presented to an individual who exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism, skill, and a commitment to patient care, this award recognizes those who demonstrate an extraordinary passion for advancing the art and science of cosmetic surgery. The recipient is someone who has shown remarkable potential through their efforts in clinical practice, education, and research, shaping the future of the field even in the foundational years of their career.

The Rising Star Award of Excellence acknowledges their unwavering commitment to achieving excellence and their aspiration to uphold the highest ethical standards, paving the way for a distinguished and influential career in cosmetic surgery.

Eligibility: Under 40 years old or within 5 years of beginning their cosmetic surgery career. Must be a current AACS member at the time of nomination and time of the upcoming Annual Scientific Meeting

Allied Health Award in Cosmetic Surgery

The Allied Health Award in Cosmetic Surgery is bestowed by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery to recognize an exceptional allied health professional who demonstrates exceptional leadership skills and excellence in clinical care.

Details: Self-nominations are not accepted. The award is presented at the Annual Scientific Meeting.

Eligibility: Allied health professional in cosmetic surgery for a minimum of 7 years. Open to nurses, injectors, aestheticians, massage therapists, and any other allied health personnel in the aesthetic industry. Preference given to AACS Allied Health members

Use one form per nomination. Only AACS Fellow Members and Physician Members may make nominations. Please read the eligibility and description for each award. Specific information and accomplishments should be included on the nomination. All nominees will be reviewed and voted upon by the Awards Committee. The awards will be presented at the upcoming Annual Scientific Meeting.
