With the creation of the Women in (WICS) Section of the AACS, we are entering a special time for membership. I am excited for the opportunities such a community can create. For those of us who are in solo practice, just starting out, we want to expand our professional network, or whatever our interests/needs might be, participating in the WICS Section will provide a community that can benefit all participants. As navigating the current aesthetic medical scene is ever-evolving, having a supportive place to explore ideas, discuss challenges that might be unique to women, and find mentorship, the WICS Section can provide a unique forum to best support women in cosmetic surgery. Some of the benefits include the following:

  • Engage in networking
  • Participate in the Women in Cosmetic Surgery Book Club
  • Join the AACS Women in Cosmetic Surgery private Facebook group
  • Attend the Women in Cosmetic Surgery Section Breakfast
  • Session at the AACS 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting

In this video, I talk about my practice that encompasses full body aesthetics with a focus on facial aesthetics. What I enjoy the most about being a cosmetic surgeon is the positive and often life changing impact I get to make to my patients lives. I touch on the rewarding aspects of my jobs and the devices, techniques and procedures available that make this a very dynamic field and share tips for looking for professional and creative freedom.

I welcome you to join the AACS and be a part of this dynamic community. For membership details, visit this page.
