by Dr. Ryan Diepenbrock, President of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery
The American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery is entering its fifth year of service certifying surgeons dedicated to patient safety and the advancement of multi-disciplinary cooperation. As the ABFCS flourishes, we continue to look to expand our influence and credibility to surgeons dedicating their practice to cosmetic surgery of the face, head, and neck.
In the upcoming year, we will be strategically recruiting board-eligible surgeons to join our ranks, we will continue to build our relationship with AACS and ABCS, and we are forming an exploratory committee on Diplomate recertification.
We are looking for Diplomates willing to give back to the organization. If you are interested in taking a leadership role in AFBCS, please contact the board. If you have colleagues who would represent the specialty well, please urge them to take the ABFCS board exam.
