Elite Cosmetic Surgery offers a one-year General Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship Program in McAllen, Texas. The Fellow will be exposed to a high-volume of body and facial cosmetic procedures; learn from evaluation to surgery to post-operative care. If desired, the Fellow will be involved in the practice management; learning the critical aspects of running a cosmetic surgery practice. Besides the surgical experience, the fellowship also offers great exposure to skin care, aesthetic injectables and a variety of laser treatments. 

Dr. Rivera is an associate professor of the Southern Texas Dermatology Residency, where the Fellow will rotate and learn from a dermatologist point of view, different aesthetic treatments for skin care.

Stipend and benefits should be discussed with the Program Director. One Fellow is accepted per year, beginning July 1 or January 1 each year. Completion of this AACS accredited fellowship may allow the fellow to be eligible to sit the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery examinations and become ABCS board certified.
