About Dr. Ray

Dr. Andrew Ray is a board-certified cosmetic surgeon and Fellowship Director at Southern Surgical Arts in Chattanooga, TN. With a background in trauma and general surgery, he brings years of experience in hernia repair, skin cancer treatment, and advanced aesthetic procedures. A former Mercy Ships volunteer, Dr. Ray is also actively involved in research on pain management, scar care, and drainless tummy tucks. He lives on Lookout Mountain with his two children and is a member of several national surgical societies.

Training Fellow Prerequisites

This program accepts Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeons, ENT’s, Plastic Surgeons, OMFS, and OB/GYN. Candidates who have recently completed their primary residency training are preferred. The Training Fellow must qualify per the AACS fellowship guidelines.
