All monies are to be spent and the project&nbsp;completed within 12 months. Half of the grant money is provided in December 2025. The other half is&nbsp;provided in June 2026, but only after the mid-term progress report is received. The final report is due November 14, 2026. Grant recipients are expected to submit an abstract of their study for the 2027 AACS Annual&nbsp;Scientific Meeting. Grant recipients are also expected to submit a manuscript of their study for publication in&nbsp;the&nbsp;<em>American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ime16\">All research grant applications are rated and selected by the CSF Board of Directors. Applications without a signed agreement form will not be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Research Grant Proposal will be uploaded to the application as one pdf. The electronic file should be named as follows: <strong>[last name]_[first name]_[year]_CSF_Grant_Application<\/strong>. The document must include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Title of Research Project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead Researcher<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other Research Team Members, if applicable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Amount Requested<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project Aims: What do you intend to accomplish? What hypothesis is to be tested?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Importance: Why is the research important? Evaluate existing knowledge in the field and specifically identify the possible contributions that your investigation may make.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preliminary Studies: What has already been done in thisfield?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experimental Design: How are you going to accomplish the research? Describe the experimental design, the procedures to be used, and the manner in which the data will be analyzed. Do not include established laboratory procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Literature Cited<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IRB or Ethics Committee Approval: Indicate if your study has been reviewed and approved by an IRB or Ethics Committee. If so, include approval letter. Include professional background and\/or academic affiliation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disclosures: If applicable, include any relevant financial disclosures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Budget: Create a line-item budget specific to the amount of funding you are requesting.
