The Fellow will be exposed to a high-volume of body and facial cosmetic procedures; learn from evaluation to surgery to post-operative care. If desired, the Fellow will be involved in the practice management; learning the critical aspects of running a cosmetic surgery practice. Besides the surgical experience, the fellowship also offers great exposure to skin care, aesthetic injectables and a variety of laser treatments.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Rivera is an associate professor of the Southern Texas Dermatology Residency, where the Fellow will rotate and learn from a dermatologist point of view, different aesthetic treatments for skin care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stipend and benefits should be discussed with the Program Director. One Fellow is accepted per year, beginning July 1 or January 1 each year.&nbsp;Completion of this AACS accredited fellowship may allow the fellow to be eligible to sit the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery examinations and become ABCS board certified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-text-a909306a\"><span class=\"gb-shape\"><svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" viewBox=\"0 0 36.7 3\"><path d=\"M0 0h36.7v3H0z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/span><span class=\"gb-text\">Training Fellow Prerequisites<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Malpractice insurance and and unrestricted license in the state of Texas.
